Mika Törönen was born 1968 in Tampere, Finland.

Studied at the Julian Ashton Art School, Sydney, Australia. 

Works has been exhibited in Australia, China, Finland, Italy, Lithuania, Serbia and Sweden.

Nordic Watercolour museum (Sweden), 

Helsinki Univercity, HAM, City of Helsinki,

and many other public and private collections in all over the world. 

Has organized and taught watercolor workshops throughout Europe.
